Pull up a seat on the porch — we’re really glad you’re here.
The Pride Porch Project started with a simple, very human truth: queer adults deserve an easy, comfortable way to make friends. Not a swipe. Not a match. Not a sales pitch. Just a place to show up as yourself and meet people who want the same thing you do — real connection.
So many of us have tried the usual routes and walked away feeling discouraged. Apps that promise community often turn into endless scrolling, pressure, or hookup culture. There’s nothing wrong with any of that, but it’s not what everyone wants. And it shouldn’t be the only option.
We imagined something more neighborly — the kind of space where you can wander up, say hello, and settle into a conversation without feeling judged or rushed. A space that feels like a front porch at dusk: calm, safe, warm, and full of the possibility of new friendships. That’s the heart of The Pride Porch. No swiping. No pressure. No subscriptions. Just a free, welcoming place for queer adults and allies to gather.
We’re building this together, slowly and intentionally. We’re not here to profit or push anything on you. We’re here because we believe community grows best when it’s tended with care — like neighbors checking in, sharing stories, and keeping the porch light on for whoever needs it.
Everyone has a seat on the porch. And if you choose to sit with us awhile, we’re honored to have you.
